LONDON - Bauer Media's FHM and IPC's Loaded have shed more than 25% of their UK news-stand sales in the past six months, the next set of magazine ABCs are expected to reveal on Thursday (13 August).

The drop in sales comes as IPC looks to enhance its trading position by reporting ABCe figures for Nuts.co.uk, NME.co.uk and Loaded.co.uk with print ABC data for the first time this week.

FHM is expected to report a year-on-year fall in UK news-stand sales of about 25% to below 160,000.

UK news-stand sales for Loaded are expected to be down about 26% year on year to around 57,000. Condé Nast's GQ is expected to be down 7% year on year to about 67,000.

High spots across the women's titles are thought to include IPC's Instyle magazine and Northern & Shell's OK!, which is expected to be up more than 20% year-on-year to 644,000, boosted by its coverage of Jade Goody's cancer battle and death.

News-stand figures do not include subscription sales or the inclusion of value packs, with which some publishers have been actively involved.

Bauer Media, Condé Nast, IPC and Northern & Shell declined to comment on the figures.
