Virgin Media will be showcasing the latest gadgets and technology for the sixth year running, with a 'smart home' showing its broadband network in action and its Tivo television service. The 'home' will be divided into life-like living spaces including a kitchen, lounge, study and outdoor space so that visitors can see each product in its intended environment.
An ideal technology ambassador will be on-hand to share their expertise and knowledge on gagdets and gizmos.
The Gap House, sponsored by Marks & Spencer, will demonstrate how to make the most of small spaces. The living space in the Gap House is only just over three metres wide – similar to that of a garage or allotment space, and is intended to fit into a gap between two buildings.
E-cigarette provider Vivid will be giving visitors a chance to sample products at The Duke's Head pub, while a fashion catwalk, sponsored by Lexus, aims to showcase the latest seasonal trends with daily fashion shows and Q&A sessions. Visitors can also relax at various beauty bars and cocktail stands.
The Ideal Home Show is devised by Media 10.
