Jeff Fergus, Leo Burnett Worldwide's group president for Europe, Middle East and Africa is leaving as a result of a management reshuffle across the region.

Chief operating officer Steve Gatfield takes on strategic control of Europe, assisted by vice chairman Kerry Rubie. Regional finance director Peter Walker is promoted to chief operating officer for Europe, Middle East and Africa.

The reshuffle comes as the agency group seeks to position itself within parent company Bcom|3 and combine corporate and client strategy across key international markets.

Leo Burnett Worldwide chairman and chief executive officer Linda Wolf said: "While the new management team and structure allow us to allign the region with Leo Burnett's global corporate development, they will also provide continuity and operational excellence on the ground in Europe."
