Lastminute.com's chairman and non-executive director, Allan Leighton, will remain with the company despite plans to drop a number of his directorships and put more time into restructuring postal operator Consignia, according to the late-deals specialist. Consignia, of which Leighton is also chairman, has claimed that its £2m-plus new-media strategy to develop a unified portal for its products will not be affected by the restructuring.
