
Executives at the i had been expected to delay publishing the paper’s debut ABC figure until the February results, published in March, to give the paper more time to establish itself in the market and benefit from its TV advertising support.
However, sources have told Media Week it will disclose an ABC figure for January of around 130,000.
It is thought that since the TV campaign launch on 16 January, sales of the paper have increased. The TV support is due to run for three months.
Executives at the paper have previously informed media agencies that in the week commencing 24 January, average paid-for sales were 165,000 ,and reached a 180,000 record-high on 27 January.

Media agencies have been promised a combined circulation of up to 340,000 per day, by the combination of i with sister paper The Independent.
According to the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC), the December circulation of The Independent was 175,002. The Independent's January circulation will also be reported tomorrow.
Executives at the i declined to comment and the ABC said it could not deny or confirm predicted ABCs figures.
Alexander Lebedev launched the i on Tuesday 26 October last year.
