Learndirect door drops to spread literacy scheme.

Learndirect is behind a major DM campaign to encourage adults with literacy and numeracy difficulties to sign up to its Skills for Life courses.

The initiative includes a four million-strong door drop campaign, with homes selected from responses to the Department for Education and Skills' 'Gremlin' TV campaign.

Georgia Bradley-Grant, account handler at Carlson, which is managing the campaign, said: "There was a chance we would send information to highly educated people. So door drops worked well as they are unpersonalised."
