Latest Nike ad stars first Team USA transgender athlete

The latest in Nike's "Unlimited" campaign stars US athlete Chris Mosier, the first transgender competitor to make the US national team.

The ad tackles Mosier's transition head on, with the athlete repeating "I didn't" in response to voiceover questions such as "How'd you know you'd be fast enough to compete against men?".

The spot was created by Wieden & Kennedy and aired last night (9 July) on NBC during Olympics coverage. It is narrated by Oscar Isaac.

Mosier said: "Being the first trans man on a US men's national team was a dream come true for me. I always wanted my name on a jersey.

"To represent our country at the highest level, in my sport, is just outstanding."
