Kwik-Fit hands £4m media business to MediaCom

LONDON - Kwik-Fit, the automotive repair chain, has appointed MediaCom to its £4m media planning and buying account following a competitive pitch.

The appointment follows that earlier this month of BMP DDB to its £4m creative advertising account. The business had been with Faulds Advertising for the past two years.

To win the business, MediaCom won a two-way shootout against BMP DDB sister media agency OMD. The account had previously been held by Faulds Advertising's sister media division Media Faulds.

Faulds had held the Kwik-Fit account since 1999, when it won media account from CIA Medianetwork Scotland and the creative from the Morgan Partnership.

The automotive repair chain Kwik-Fit was acquired by the venture capitalist CVC Capital Partners from Ford for £330m last July.
