Kuoni Travel is sponsoring an 84-page Harpers & Queen travel
supplement, called 'The World's 100 Best Spas', which will be published
with the January issue.
The supplement, Harpers' biggest ever, is aimed at affluent
30-something women. It is being jointly edited by travel editor
Catherine Fairweather and beauty editor Newby Hands.
In return for sponsoring the title, Kuoni will receive three prime
advertising sites, a promotion and a competition in the supplement.
The deal was negotiated by Harpers ad director Jacqui Euwe with Kuoni
marketing director Nathan Philpot and marketing manager Jamie
Hammond.
The supplement will carry a further 25 pages of advertising, which is
expected to generate revenue in excess of £200,000.
The January issue will go on sale on 11 December.
