Bartle Bogle Hegarty, which handles the global account for Flora, created the initiative’s UK launch campaign last year. Krow already handles the ad accounts for Flora ProActive and Flora Buttery.
The ‘Cooking with Schools’ UK initiative, which is in its second year, runs across the whole range of Flora brands. The new campaign will launch in March to kick off the 2009 programme.
BBH’s last ad for ‘Cooking with Schools’ was released in June 2008 and featured animated chefs made out of seeds. Primary school children sang its soundtrack.
The initiative provides cooking equipment and resources, in exchange for Flora pack vouchers, to help support health education in primary schools. This includes free equipment, teaching resources and a cookery road show.
Last year, 14,000 primary schools got involved in the programme, collecting 1,281,144 tokens in total.
