KitKat celebrates its 85th birthday with a campaign encouraging the public to riff off its long-running slogan.
The campaign invites chocolate fans to create their own taglines, with suggested slogans including "have a pause, have a chit chat" and "have a rest, have a finger snap".
The ad launched on 16 October and will run until 26 October, after which the winner (picked by Jeremy Bullmore, who created the brand's slogan in 1957) will be treated to a 85-hour hotel stay for two.
It was created by Renato Fernandes, Vinicius Dias and Stephen Webley, art directed by Rafael Falco and Rob Bovington, and directed by Marcus Prado.
At the beginning of this year, KitKat paired with scale model kit company AirFix to create a special edition of its miniature Supermarine Spitfire.
