Kinetic keeps Euro Unilever account

Outdoor agency Kinetic has retained the Unilever European out-of-home brief.

The international food, home and personal care manufacturer originally placed its business with Kinetic in 2006 after the specialist competed with rival Concord for the account.

No competitive pitch process was conducted for the business, but the agency presented a new proposal to Unilever for the coming year.

Kinetic will continue to handle the Unilever account across its European offices, working on products such as Persil, Flora and ice-cream brand Magnum.

Richard Brooke, communications and buying manager at Unilever UK and Ireland, said the company was impressed with Kinetic's service.

Separately, in a first for outdoor advertising, Kinetic teamed up with contractor Titan to create a promotion for new cinema release Sweeney Todd. As part of a two-day campaign, barbers will be in London's Liverpool Street and Victoria stations to offer free wet shaves to commuters.
