
Children's tablet computers claimed the top two places with the InnoTab Learning Tablet and LeapPad Explorer Tablet claiming first and second place respectively in the four weeks leading up to 3 December.
The Logo Board Game, which centres on the history of major brands, is the eighth best selling toy in the run up to Christmas.
This year's most successful toys are largely in line with expectations with six of the top ten being predicted in the (PDF), an official prediction of the Christmas best-sellers.
Gary Grant, Dream Toys selection panel chairman, said: "This year we've seen some amazing technological advancements from the toy industry.
"This doesn't mean to say that the toys are 'techy' – rather that technology has been used to enrich the whole experience of play."
A game about dog faeces called Doggy Doo, which was one of Dream Toys panel's mostly hotly tipped games, has not lived up to expectations.
It has fallen out of the top 10 best-selling games list, having claimed fifth spot in the previous month.
