Kia Motors calls on Blue Steel Booths for Ashes experiential activity

Event photography company Blue Steel Booths has created an interactive experience for Kia Motors UK's 'Summer of Cricket' activation during the fifth test of the 2013 Investec Ashes Series at the Kia Oval, from 21-25 August.

During the five-day test match, cricket fans will be able to step inside a customised, Kia branded photo booth and, using green screen technology, have their photo taken in front of a selection of cricket and Oval-related backgrounds.

Whilst they wait for their bespoke photos to print, guests wil be invited to upload their images to Facebook, Twitter or email using custom-designed software on an interactive, 32 inch touch screen monitor positioned outside the booth.

Jerome Maas, director of Blue Steel Booths, says: "This is different than any other event we’ve done before. We’ve created a unique, fully branded, and highly-interactive experience for Kia consumers. Our new social technology and high impact touch screens create stronger user engagement and lasting brand impressions."

The Blue Steel Booths photo booth will complement the other in-ground activations this summer, including a miniature racing challenge and a car stand showcasing the new Kia pro_cee’d GT - Kia’s first performance car.
