Kenwood appointed editor of Woman's Weekly

LONDON - IPC Media has appointed Diane Kenwood as editor of Woman's Weekly magazine, replacing Sheena Harvey who left the title in September.

Kenwood has most recently been editing several titles for contract publisher Redwood, including Your M&S and Heyday magazines.

She has previously chaired the Periodical Training Council and worked as an editor and contributor across a range of print titles for publishers including H Bauer, the National Magazine Company and BBC Publications.

Kenwood also has extensive broadcast experience, presenting and producing programming such as 'Woman's Hour' on BBC Radio 4 and 'Travelog' on Channel 4.

Oswin Grady, Woman's Weekly publishing director, said: "Diane is a passionate and engaging individual who will realise the massive potential of the Women's Weekly brand. She has fantastic experience, her talent speaks for itself."

Kenwood starts her new role on Monday December 3.

Kenwood said: "I'm absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to work on such a successful and long-standing title and to be able to take it on to the next exciting stage in its development."

Woman's Weekly, which is published by IPC Connect, has a circulation of 369,926, according to the latest ABC figures, recorded from January to June this year.
