A single reporting unit - Carat Europe - has been created. It is run by
the joint chief executives, Eryck Rebbouh and Bruno Kemoun, into which
all of Kelly's former fiefdom will report.
Both Rebbouh and Kemoun (the former chief executives of Carat France)
were promoted to head Carat in southern Europe at the same time that
Kelly received his elevation to chief executive of northern Europe.
Craze, currently the chief executive of Carat UK, has taken on
additional responsibility for all of Carat's UK and Ireland operations -
Carat recently purchased the All Ireland Media agency in the Republic of
Ireland.
Kelly, however, has left the agency and is not believed to have another
job to go to.
Elsewhere in the group, Eric Drancourt and Jerry Buhlmann, previously
the chief executive and chief operating officer of Carat International,
have become the chairman and chief executive of the International
division respectively.
Alexander Ruzicka continues as the chief executive of Carat Central
Europe, but will now report to Carat Europe.
Doug Flynn, Aegis Group's chief executive, said: "Carat's worldwide
operation has grown out of Europe and the region remains the jewel in
our crown. However, as Carat continues to evolve globally the need to
consolidate our European operations into a cohesive reporting unit has
become an imperative. I am satisfied the new structure, and the strong
management team running it, will serve to enhance the way we serve our
clients."
