JWT boosts its management line-up

Alison Burns, the chief executive of JWT, has made a number of management appointments as she battles to revive the agency's fortunes.

Zoe Osmond, the head of the agency's Coty business, will become the head of account mangement. Jonathan Davis, the former managing director of @radical.media, has been appointed to the newly created role of director of operations. Meanwhile, Paul Kirkley, the managing partner on Shell, has been moved into the role of director of business development.

Davis will be responsible for overseeing the production and creative services departments as well as building on the agency's digital and design capabilities.

He will also share responsibility with JWT leadership groups in London and Europe to develop a more integrated approach to handling its multinational accounts.

Kirkley will replace Peter Cowie, the former business development director, who left the agency in January.

Burns said: "These appointments reflect my commitment to creating opportunities for talented people already here, along with bringing on board new perspectives and senior talent from outside JWT."
