The sponsorship, which was planned and bought by Havas Media, will include broadcast, online and mobile elements. Kream London produced the 15-second idents for the sponsorship.
In the sponsorship bumpers, real people, who were picked from across Britain, will talk about their favourite takeaways and what they like in a romantic partner, while eating a takeaway meal in the Just Eat Love Lounge.
When the next series of ‘Take Me Out’ begins tomorrow (4 January), the first ident will show the Welsh women Alys Haf and Alika Innocent talking about the "hot and spicy" temperament of Alika’s boyfriend, while eating a curry.
In a social media campaign led by Karmarama, Just Eat will share its idents as well as additional content such as outtakes. Just Eat will also run competitions offering students the chance to win a night in for them and their housemates.
While the programme is on air, Just East will ask people to describe their perfect partner with the hashtag #whatifancy. Some of the descriptions will be turned into caricatures and used to set people up.
Lucy Milne, the UK marketing director at Just Eat, said: "‘Take Me Out’ is a perfect fit for Just Eat. Like ‘Take Me Out’, takeaway is a cornerstone of many a household’s Saturday night, and we both allow people to have a bit of whatever they fancy, when they want it.
"With this in mind, we’ve reflected the tone of the show in our idents combining natural comedy with the sauciness of ‘Take Me Out’ – a perfect recipe!"
FremantleMedia UK’s Thames TV produces ‘Take Me Out’.
