The publishing company has signed a partnership with Scottish local authority jobs portal, MyjobScotland to carry local government vacancies from across the country.

A number of Johnston Press' Scottish titles, such as The Scotsman, Falkirk Herald, Fife Free Press and the Southern Reporter, will carry a marketing campaign to promote the website. Local authority jobs will also continue to be carried by the likes of Trinity Mirror and STV in Scotland.

Michael Johnston, divisional managing director of Johnston Press Scotland, said the company wanted to make sure "every adult in the employment market" was aware of the jobs.

The vacancies can be found at Scotsman.com/jobs from today (14 September).
