
Jobsite technology will now power job advertising on the JobsToday portals across Johnson Press's 300-plus regional websites in England, Scotland and Ireland.
A spokesman from Jobsite said it would employ its 13 years of online recruitment experience to ensure the JobsToday platform provides the "best functionality and user experience".
Job advertisers will be now able to post vacancies across the local websites of Johnston Press and pay extra to receive national exposure on Jobsite, as well as searching the databases of both Jobsite and JobsToday for relevant applicant CVs. Jobsite advertisers can also pay extra to be featured on the JobsToday sites.
John Fry, chief executive of Johnston Press, said the partnership with Jobsite will enable Johnston Press to "deliver upon its strategy of improving its classified sites by working with the best providers".
Fry said JobsToday specialises in working with companies to bring "local jobs to local people" and the new sites will "enhance this capability".
Chris Babayode, digital commercial director at Johnston Press, said partnering with Jobsite brings a great opportunity to "improve the localness of our online job boards" and bring more local jobs to jobseekers.
He said Jobsite was chosen because of its "innovative reputation, award-winning technology and depth of job content".
Keith Potts, chief executive of Jobsite, said partnering with Johnston Press enables Jobsite to expand its regional network and the areas where Johnston Press operates "complement Jobsite's existing media partnerships", ensuring Jobsite has "true depth and breadth" across the UK.
