Johnston Press adds Glasgow paper to portfolio
Johnston Press has purchased Glasgow East News, a free newspaper distributed in the east of Glasgow. The title will form part of Johnston (Falkirk) Limited.
The acquisition comes one week after Johnston bought four paid-for newspapers from Mortons Media. The titles, including the Horncastle News series, the Louth Leader series, the Skegness News and the Market Rasen Mail, circulate in Lincolnshire.
