Johnnie Walker Blue enlists Jude Law for 'Symphony in Blue' extravaganza

Johnnie Walker Blue Label last night presented Symphony in Blue, billed as the "world's first theatrical, experiential, musical and artistic journey".

Actor Jude Law closed the grand finale of the show in honour of the premium whisky, which featured dancers, drummers and light installations at Merchant Taylors’ Hall in the City of London.

Symphony in Blue was designed to "celebrate the heritage and craftsmanship behind Johnnie Walker Blue Label" with the activity crafted by Done+Dusted and culinary experts Bompas & Parr. The performance aimed to bring to life the whisky’s six flavours: fresh, fruity, malty, woody, spicy and smoky.

Guests, who included senior Diageo management such as chief executive Ivan Menezes and chief marketing officer Syl Saller, were also treated to Johnnie Walker Blue served with 10,000-year-old-ice and were able to experience a luxurious breathable cloud' composed of the whisky.
