John Lewis' Christmas ad is an animated woodland tale about friendship.

Adam & Eve/DDB created the film, which features Lily Allen’s rendition of Keane’s Somewhere Only We Know and the strapline: "Give someone a Christmas they’ll never forget." In the ad, a hare buys his friend, a bear, an alarm clock so that he no longer has to miss the Christmas celebrations when he hibernates. The spot will be supported by an e-book, a hardback book, merchandise and a social media campaign. It was created by Aidan McClure and Laurent Simon, and directed by Elliot Dear and Yves Geleyn through Blinkink and Hornet.
