The company received a late boost with fourth-quarter sales up by 9% year-on-year to £373.9m, reflecting good progress in the transport division and solid performances from street furniture and billboards, the company said in a trading update.
Among the group’s high-profile UK wins last year was the BT phone boxes contract, previously held by Clear Channel. Decaux later created a special StreetTalk division.
The company also put up its first illuminated advertising towers, alongside the A3 and M4 in London.
Decaux said revenue growth was strongest in South America, with North America and Asia-Pacific also performing well.
