Jazz fm reviews £2m creative account in run-up to relaunch

Jazz fm is reviewing its £2 million creative account as it prepares to relaunch early next year.

The radio station, which is owned by the Guardian Media Group, has shortlisted the agencies Soul, Kitcatt Nohr Alexander Shaw, Finex and the incumbent, WARL Change Behaviour. The review will be overseen by the jazz fm head of marketing, Nicola Thomson.

Jazz fm is considering ditching its "chameleon" campaign, which was introduced more than five years ago, although no decision has been made.

The decision to review follows the announcement that GMG has moved jazz fm's £15 million sales contract to Chrysalis Radio Sales from Clear Channel Radio Sales. Chrysalis will handle national sales for all five GMG-owned stations.

The creative review is not thought to affect the station's media buying and planning account, which is held by The Media Shop.
