
Coltman will develop the digital station's relationship with clients from across the advertiser categories, reporting to head of sales Rupert Garrett.
At , the trade body for the commercial radio industry, Coltman was a strategy consultant for three years. Prior to joining RadioCentre she worked in PR at Lansons Communications and Freud Communications.
Garrett said: "As the Jazz FM brand continues to build, we are a simply great offer for high quality brands so the time is absolutely right to bring in somebody with client responsibility.
"I am delighted that Jo is joining us at such an exciting time for the station and look forward to utilising the experience that she gained dealing with clients and agencies at the RAB."
Jazz FM's current sponsors include Southern Comfort, which won a silver award at the for best use of branded content earlier this month, Financial Times, Cayman Islands and Pizza Express.
According to the last Rajar results for quarter one this year Jazz FM has a weekly reach of 471,000 listeners, up 15.4% year on year and 5.6% period on period.

Last week to drop the requirement that its Smooth Radio stations in London and the North West broadcast 45 hours of specialist jazz programming in return for providing 12 hours of specialist music programming during peak time.
