Jade Goody OK! memorial issue attracts 60 complaints

LONDON - The Press Complaints Commission has now received 60 complaints from members of the public who feel this week's OK! magazine is 'intrusive' to Jade Goody's family.

The magazine carried the heading ‘Jade Goody Official Tribute Issue 1981 - 2009' despite the TV star still clinging to life.

A spokesperson for the commission said because the complaints raise concern for Goody's family it would need involvement of the family in order to pursue the criticism.

Goody is still battling terminal cancer. Her family released a statement expressing support for OK!, calling the issue ‘kind'.

The commission said it would look into all complaints and expects to make a decision on whether to launch a full investigation next week.
