The children will receive a tour of Wembley, view a film screening with popcorn, take part in a dance party with cheerleaders and the Jaguars’ mascot and enjoy a dinner provided by Papa John’s Pizza.
Video game company EA Sports will install Xbox gaming stations and drinks company Britvic will supply Fruit Shoot juice, while Colgate Palmolive will be donating toiletries.
The National Football League (NFL) franchise has partnered with US business Ashley Furniture Home Stores to provide beds for the event, which have been shipped directly from Florida. The furniture company has already donated more than 10,000 beds to children across the US as part of its ‘A hope to dream’ programme.
Following the sleepover, over half the beds will be delivered to the homes of underprivileged children and the rest donated to children’s charity Kids Company.
Shahid Khan, owner of Jacksonville Jaguars, said: "We believe that every child has the right to their own bed. It’s the last place they go at night and the first place they wake up in the morning. It’s a place of comfort and security and that’s something that no child should be without.
"We’ve seen the benefits of ‘A hope to dream’ in Jacksonville and, with our partners Ashley Furniture, we’re excited to see it have the same impact in London."
Howard Fineman, owner of Ashley Furniture Home Stores, added: "We’re very proud of our ‘A hope to dream’ programme. Ashley Furniture Home Stores' staff, customers and our friends at Jacksonville Jaguars, have worked hard to make this programme a success and it’s a testament to that hard work, and the impact this programme has had across the US, that we’re now able to bring it to the UK."
