ITV2 attracted its highest audience figures last week from its
Saturday night schedule of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Interactive and
Pop Idol Extra.
ITV said last week that the first episode of Pop Idol Extra, which drew
226,400 viewers, was the most popular programme on ITV2 since its launch
in 1998, excluding the first run of Coronation Street.
Who Wants to be a Millionaire Interactive, which pulled in more than
200, 000 viewers, became the second-highest recorded audience for the
channel since its launch.
Viewing levels for both shows peaked at 248,100, beating the ratings for
US sitcom Friends on Sky One, which was broadcast at the same time.
