LONDON (Brand Republic) 鈥 ITV鈥檚 estimated ad revenue for 2000 has been cut by £62m due mainly to its continuing absence from BSkyB鈥檚 Sky Digital platform.
The estimate, drawn up by Merrill Lynch鈥檚 media and entertainment team, now forecasts ITV鈥檚 ad revenue will come in at £1.94bn rather than £2.01bn, as had been originally anticipated.
Merrill said that ITV鈥檚 fourth-quarter ad revenue performance 鈥渁ppears to be getting weaker鈥 and predicts that October could be down 17%.
