ITV calls £15m ad review

LONDON - ITV has put its £15m advertising account up for review.

M&C Saatchi, which was appointed to handle the off-air account by ITV's former marketing director Clare Salmon in 2005, will not be repitching for the business. David Pemsel, who replaced Salmon at the beginning of the year, has appointed the AAR to manage the review process.

ITV's on-air account is not affected as it is handled by the in-house resource, ITV Creative.

The review comes as ITV enjoys a ratings success with the latest series of 'The X-Factor'. 'The X-Factor' pulled in 8.7m on Saturday night, according to unofficial overnight figures.
