How do you come up with marketing ideas?
As a global company we get the best of both worlds - global consistency coupled with local implementation. Many of the best ideas come from working closely with our UK suppliers and agencies.

What is the main marketing challenge you face?
To re-energise the Kodak brand. During the past five years, Kodak has undergone a transformation from a vertical FMCG company to a global consumer electronics business.

Is there a dress code?
Yes. Being a US company, we've had a casual dress code for many years.

What are the perks?
We get fantastic products to test all the time - from the latest digital cameras to state-of-the-art wi-fi digital frames.

What are the hours like?
Generally 8.30am to 6.00pm, although deadlines often mean a longer day.

Does the team socialise outside office hours?
One of the things that makes it such a great place to work is the fact that we are a small and close-knit team, and there are countless country pubs nearby in leafy Hertfordshire.

Are there any downsides?
Commuting around the M25.

What is the company like for training and career progression?
As a result of the dramatic transformation that Kodak has undergone during the past five years, fresh opportunities present themselves all the time.

Describe the marketing team in three words
Experienced, responsive, effective.

What is interesting about the inside of your office?
There are some pretty amazing photographic pieces of art displayed around the building.

Is there anything else readers may find interesting about the company?
Kodak has consolidated office space in the UK and all three sales and marketing divisions - consumer, commercial graphics and entertainment imaging - are now located in the same building. This has made it possible for much greater collaboration across the divisions.
