Industry association ISES has postponed its Innovation and Technology conference, scheduled to take place at London Launch Live from 25-26 June, due to a lack of available attendees. The Earls Court-based event received only 26 pre-registrations despite over 120 members being contacted. As an alternative, ISES plans to provide a networking lounge catered for by Leith’s and an afternoon speaker session in the auditorium with Kevin White from the New York chapter. A new date for the conference is yet to be confirmed, but is expected to be sometime next year. The ISES-backed LearnShops and VIP party are still set to go ahead, however. ISES President Mike Kershaw commented: “While it is a shame the event is being postponed, it is actually quite reassuring that the industry is so busy with events. The reaction to the content of the conference remains very positive and I have no doubt that the uptake will be significantly higher for our revised date.”
