Approximately 10% of all budgets allocated to Ireland's newspapers are still planned and bought from the UK. A company spokesperson said that the company believes it can improve its current share in what has become a highly competitive market.
Thomas Crosbie owns national titles The Irish Examiner and The Sunday Business Post, as well as expat newspaper The Irish Post in the UK.
Trevor Pryer, managing director of Publicom Media, said: "Thomas Crosbie Holdings' portfolio of newspapers delivers high-spending consumer and business markets and our focus will be to ensure that this message is highlighted to agencies and clients."
Contract publisher and media sales house Publicom Media was founded in July last year by managing partners Trevor Pryer, former head of client sales for News International, and Sixt Von Schultzendorff, former deputy managing director of Gruner+Jahr.
The contract begins this month. As well the two Irish national titles, Thomas Crosbie also owns 10 regional newspapers across Ireland.
