IPC unveils two new titles with TeenNow and Celebrity Living

IPC SouthBank is about to launch a glossy monthly called Celebrity Living, currently operating under the codename Project Arwen.

The title, due to launch in mid-May, is billed as Elle Decoration meets InStyle and will be edited by Tammy Butt, currently the deputy editor of IPC's InStyle, and previously the editor of More! and Jaunt.

The first issue will contain a mix of celebrity homes stories and decorating tips from designers who style the stars' homes. The title is hoping to secure interviews with Lenny Kravitz, Donna Air and Tamara Beckwith for its debut issue.

Separately, IPC has announced the launch of TeenNow. It will be edited by Jeremy Mark, the deputy editor of Now, and will target older teens.

As a junior version of Now, TeenNow will include celebrity gossip and interviews. The first issue will include an interview with the teen band Busted and a photo shoot with two EastEnders stars. Britney Spears is on the front cover.

Priced at £1.50, it will appear in newsagents nationally this spring.

Further issues will be rolled out if it's successful.

TeenNow launches into a declining market, illustrated by Emap's decision to close J17 last week.
