Oswin Grady, previously acting publisher of Woman's Weekly, has been appointed publisher of Woman and Woman's Own, part of the new Classic publishing sub-division. The three other new units are Mature, Easy Entertainment and Celebrity.
Sally Hogg joins from Redwood to become publisher of Woman's Weekly to take over from Grady. Grady had been standing in for Allison Greenfield while she was on secondment to the IPC Strategic Planning team, where she has decided to stay.
As a result of the shake-up, IPC is seeking a publisher for the newly created post of publisher of Chat, which falls under the Easy Entertainment division. Until someone is found, the title will be handled by Hogg.
Grady, Hogg and the new publisher of Chat will report to publishing director Sandy Gale.
According to Gale: "Over the last three years, we have developed a significant and highly profitable specials programme, and this new publishing structure will ensure that we can drive sales and profits in this powerful sector even harder and faster."
Andrew Kirkland has been appointed to the new position of publisher of Now, reporting to publishing director Sarah Fisher. Kirkland is currently group circulation manager at IPC's distributor Marketforce.
The publishing line-up is completed by Lynsey Bushell's appointment as assistant publisher with responsibility for Mizz. Lynsey also joins from Marketforce and will also report to Fisher.
