IPC revamps Country Life

IPC has given Country Life a makeover for its September issue.

The weekly title, published by IPC Country and Leisure Media, has been around since 1897, and aims to draw more readers who have recently moved to the country alongside its existing readership.

Publishing director Fiona Dent said the new design also included "new premium advertising sites so agencies and clients can ensure increased visibility for their brands amongst Country Life’s influential readership."

The redesign incorporates a cleaner design to set off photography of houses, gardens and architecture, and aims to signpost readers to the newly introduced newsy sections at the front and back.

The content has also been updated and includes a new feature focusing on contemporary culture and a luxury accessories showcase. This aims to provide a new platform for advertising luxury goods alongside the main advertising, which is mainly property-related.

The look of the logo and other fonts have also been changed for a more modern look.
