In her new role she will work across IPC with sales and creative teams to develop new and existing business. Working with these teams, she will develop client and agency planning and strategic relationships, driving expenditure, increased innovation and integrated content solutions where relevant, according to IPC Media.

Tournes said: "Fiona brings a huge amount of experience to the existing strategic business development team.

"Together with Lisa Batty and Dan Coleman this team will undoubtedly move magazines up the planning agenda."
