Investec will be the title sponsor for the series, which consists of three tests at Asgiriya Stadium, Sinhalese Sports Club Ground and Galle International Stadium.
The sponsorship will extend Investec's existing association with international cricket. It currently sponsors the media centre at Lord's and has had a presence with international England cricket since 2004.
Raymond van Niekerk, global head of marketing at Investec, said: "I am happy to further our association with cricket. The sport has been good for our brand and is a positive factor in reaching our international audiences."
Duleep Mendis, chief executive of Sri Lanka Cricket, said: "Cricket is developing in this island and we are extremely proud of some of the young talented cricketers we have produced in recent years. This is only made possible by the support we receive from major sponsors."
Investec provides financial products and services to a niche client base in three principal markets: the UK, South Africa, and Australia.
