The International Herald Tribune launches Saturday books supplement

LONDON – The International Herald Tribune has launched a new weekly section called Books and Ideas to complement its online version.

The new section will be available from Saturday January 28 and will feature a selection of books, reviews, profiles and feature articles from IHT writers and The New York Times.

Enhanced content, including longer versions of the reviews and additional material, will be made available on .

Stephen Dunbar-Johnson, IHT senior vice-president and commercial director, said: "We know it is increasingly crucial for our international advertisers to reach the IHT's high-end readers at their most engaged.

"Many of those readers wanted to find more on the great intellectual, philosophical and political issues of the world in the IHT. This is why exciting new features like Books & Ideas are great news for them but also for our advertisers."

The International Herald Tribune is based in Paris and is part of The New York Times Company. It is printed at 32 sites throughout the world and can be bought in more than 180 countries.
