
Taking place today (28 November) from 6pm-9pm at Graphic Bar in Soho, London, the event will showcase products from independent businesses that use Instagram, aims to turn the site's potential as a virtual gift guide into a physical reality. People are being encouraged to visit the free event, mingle and browse for gifts for Christmas.
Products on display will include hand-crafted jewellery, matcha tea and personalised stationery. Earlier this year, Mercure Hotels partnered with contemporary food designers, Bompas & Parr, to create 'pre-instagrammed' picnic hampers, which were showcased at a Mercure-hosted event.
Online marketplance earlier this month, showcaseing 100 unique designs of single item each day.
