We have been devotedly spreading the Wired magazine word since last October. The unique editorial proposition has been well received and a diverse range of advertisers are already firmly behind the brand.

Who is the team leader?
Jamie Jouning is the magazine's publisher and he has a calm and collected style of management, which is useful in these turbulent times. Working on a launch can be quite stressful, so Jamie made it clear in the interview process that a sense of humour is absolutely vital.

What's in your in-tray?
Right now there is the launch issue of Wired, an invitation to Wired's launch party at Skylon tonight (Tuesday), a tiny Pico projector on loan from our test editor, a print-out of augmented reality symbols and a half-eaten packet of Haribo Tangfastics.

Where do you get inspiration from?
Our terrifyingly intelligent editorial team, who sit alongside us in our modern Old Bond Street office. Their job is to identify the trends and innovations shaping the future, so we have inspiration permanently on tap.

Media we can't live without
We like Spotify before breakfast, Apple's App Store with our mid-morning coffee and Google's Street View at lunchtime. In the evenings, we are addicted to the box set of The Wire.

Preferred lunching venues?
If it's a business lunch, The Wolseley - which is handily located within touching distance of the Wired office - is the favourite thanks to its simple, brasserie-style food and exemplary service. If we fancy something more Wired, we head into Soho to a new Japanese restaurant called Inamo.

Most memorable night out
As a magazine dedicated to the future, we don't like to dwell in the past, so our most memorable night out has yet to happen. That said, tonight's official Wired launch party at Skylon will be very hard to beat.

Are you recruiting?
We have just created a seven-strong commercial team from scratch, so there are no vacancies at the moment.
