Seven people complained about the ad, which promoted a Leicestershire-based spare parts business called A1 Motor Stores. It was created by RAH Advertising and appeared as an insert in the Northwich Mail and Peterborough Citizen.
There were various pictures of women in the insert in suggestive poses. One showed two topless women with the caption "Mmmmm! The Lovely RaceX Twins". Other images showed a woman wearing knickers and a cardigan that exposed her cleavage, and another showed the rear view of a woman who was naked from the waist down.
The Advertising Standards Authority said it considered the images likely to cause serious or widespread offence to readers of free regional newspapers, especially because they could been seen by children.
A1 Motor Stores said it had verbally apologised to complainants and assured the ASA the ad would not appear again.
