Ink Publishing takes over Germanwings magazine

Ink, publisher of in-flight titles easyJet Traveller and Ryanair Magazine, has been contracted by the Lufthansa-owned airline Germanwings to produce its customer magazine.

The bi-monthly Germanwings magazine was previously published by Berlin-based company Freshmilk Creative. The title reaches a potential 1.4 million customers, 80% of whom are German.

The Ink-published magazine will include travel, leisure and light business articles in both English and German in the same issue.

The title includes travel and tourism-related advertisers such as German rent-a-car companies.

Ink will launch its production with the December 2010 /January 2011 issue. The first issue will focus on European cities, namely Vienna, Berlin, London, Rome, Barcelona and Moscow.

Ink also publishes the in-flight publications for airline giants United and KLM.
