The move comes as Ink Publishing releases research that shows advertisers are set to invest more than £570m in in-flight media next year to target the growing number of affluent airline passengers.
According to the research, global inflight advertising revenues are predicted to grow from £395m in 2004 to £480m this year and will exceed £570 in 2006.
An increase in advertising spend, alongside the opening of niche markets by point-to-point airlines, is expected to take credit for the growth.
The figures are based on the sales in its own portfolio of inflight titles, along with research conducted by Air Transport Intelligence and market-by-market data from the World Advertising Research Center.
Jeffrey O'Rourke, chief executive of Ink Publishing, said: "Strong growth in worldwide ad spend, combined with the development of niche markets by airlines and rapidly growing passenger numbers across the board, are having a dramatic, positive effect on the inflight advertising market."
