Chairman of the International Exhibition Logistics Associates (IELA), Phil Powell, will step down at this month's annual congress on 26 June.
The managing director of Ceva Showfreight was one of the seven original founding members of the association in 1985 and took over the two year chairmanship at the 2007 congress in Santiago.
He will hand over to the new IELA chairman, Greg Keh from the US on the first day of the congress at The Raddison SAS Portman Hotel in London.
The event is expected to attract the highest number of business delegates in its history.
