IDM to teach advertisers how to select DM services

LONDON – The Institute of Direct Marketing has developed a two-day workshop to help advertisers looking to hire direct marketing agencies and service companies make the right choices.

It aims to help advertisers looking to increase their spend on direct marketing to get the most value from their budgets by breaking down the medium so that client companies select the right services to meet their objectives.

Delegates will be taken through the campaign process, from scheduling and finding the right suppliers, to briefing and monitoring performance.

The course will be held by Michael Coveney, director of GWC, and Jane Cave, a direct marketing consultant, and will look at how to save money, how to stay on schedule and the pitfalls to avoid.

Particular emphasis will be given to buying creative services, lists, print, personalisation and lettershop services.

Buying DM Services runs on October 9-10 at the IDM in Teddington and costs £695+VAT for IDM members and £795+VAT for non-members. For more information, visit the IDM or call 020 8614 0277.
