ID worked with the London College of Fashion to create its internal training programme. It has also hired Helen Porter to head its retail sales division.

Porter has worked with clients including The Arcadia Group, Aurora Fashions, House of Fraser, Tommy Hilfiger, Mulberry, Hackett, Nicole Farhi and Issey Miyake.

"It is vital that an agency can provide staff with product knowledge, great customer service and excellent sales ability, especially during the current climate," she said.
