
Icon said it was looking to "strengthen its event and brand services portfolio".
"There is an obvious synergy between our two businesses and there is no doubt that this new arrangement will bring real benefit to both existing and new customers in terms of the depth of experience and breadth of knowledge we are now able to offer," said Icon managing director John Francis.
Between them the two companies have worked for brands including Adidas, Chelsea Football Club, Coca Cola, Samsung, Sony and UEFA.
