The International Convention Centre Birmingham (ICC) has become "the second venue in the UK" to be accredited with ISO9001 and ISO14001 management systems.
Certification body BM Trada presented the certificates to the ICC team and ICC general manager Geoff Fenlon.
The ICC will host the Liberal Democrat's Spring Conference in 2010, as well as its full conference in 2011.
The Edinburgh International Conference Centre was the first venue to achieve both certificates.
